PLANTAR WARTS
The plantar warts are caused by a virus and appear in the plant of the foot, they are excrescences that can appear in any zone, or single or in groups and they are looked much like the calluses.
Unlike which in other parts of the body, the warts grow towards outside, in the feet, they inwards do it due to the weight and to the pressure that is exerted on the plant of the foot when it has been stopped or walking.
They are pronounced with strong pains when walking and they appear generally in group.
The plantar warts are difficult to treat, but positive results with the special application of “salicílico” acid or other preparations have been registered that are obtained easily in the pharmacies. This acid which does is to soften the region and to expose the virus that produces them.
Other treatments include direct injections in warts, its freezing with liquid nitrogen and in extreme cases resorts to the surgery to extract them.
It is important that by no reason tries to clear warts with scissors, knives or knives, since in addition to which it can injure to sinews and nerves, also it can cause a severe hemorrhage.
